We are Harry and Susan Jones, the owners of this 40+ year old blueberry farm in the Susquehanna Valley. We are just completing our 6th blueberry harvest season.

A little bit about us: We have lived in central Pennsylvania for over 30 years and raised our family here. We met at the former Williamsport Area Community College. Harry has his degree in horticulture and has numerous years of experience in the landscape/nursery industry and Susan is a dental hygienist.

We are looking forward to being your blueberry farm of choice. Now the most important part: The blueberries! We have 6 acres of blueberries containing about 4000 plants! For the last 36 years the blueberry farm has been maintained without the use of herbicides and we are going to continue this practice. We will be fertilizing with Fertrell organic fertilizer and using environmentally safe pest controls only as needed.  We are USDA certified organic with Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association and it is important to us to produce the healthiest blueberries possible for you and your family.

In the spring of 2018 we added a little over 300 new plants. The past 5 winters  we have spent many, many hours pruning and cleaning up the blueberry field and it shows!!  This past winter we really concentrated on the heirloom section of the field.  The bushes look very healthy this year, 2023 but the blueberries took a hit  with the weather.

Come back soon to see what else we’re up to on the farm!

Mark your calendars for July to pick blueberries or let us do the picking for you. We also have pints, quarts and larger quantities for freezing at the farm stand. In addition we have frozen blueberries in 3 pound bags-available after the season by appointment.

The season’s short! Come out and pick or pick up naturally good-for-you blueberries at Bridge Avenue Blueberries.
